Big Rock
West of Lenin
203 North 36th St. Seattle
Big Rock, written by Sonya Schneider and directed by Laurel Pilar Garcia, chronicles Signe Sands as she flees from her latest art opening in New York. She travels to a remote island in the Pacific Northwest where her famous father has taken refuge. On the island, she meets a local man who wants to change his life by learning to write poetry. When he asks for Signes help, she must decide whether to turn her back on art forever, or be open to the possibilities on the big rock. Gaze into the complicated relationship between art and artist at Seattle's West of Lenin.
