In the face of huge corporate farms, what's the small-time farmer to do to ensure a future for her family? For Maggie, the widow at the heart of Fruits of the Harvest, that's not the only dilemma she faces. She's been running her small Idaho farm for years, but now she's fighting a losing battle against time, weather and a changing culture. But, willing to sacrifice everything for her family, Maggie calls her three grown children back home to try for one last, big harvest. The Edmonds Driftwood Players stage this intimate story at the Wade James Theatre as part of their spotlight on new works and local playwrights.
