Julius Caesar
Seattle Center
305 Harrison Street Seattle
Murderous political intrigue unfolds in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, a "history play" that remains intensely relevant to today's audiences. Suspicions arise when the beloved Caesar gains popularity among his people. A deadly plot unfolds as he finds himself locked in a life-and-death struggle for power with his former "friends, Romans, countrymen," Brutus and Cassius, who question his motives and influence. The actions of these friends-turned-conspirators set off a civil war at the dawn of the Roman Empire. Watch the drama unfold on the stage of The Cornish Playhouse at Seattle Center courtesy of Seattle Shakespeare Company.
